donate $1,000 or more annually to support the member organizations
represented by Earth Share of Georgia. These
critical funds are allocated to protect not only our environment
but ultimately the health and quality of our lives.
As
thanks for their gift, Earth Share Holders will also
receive the official
GREEN CARD, an annual passport to environmental
events, field trips and centers. Current benefits include:
•
A bicycle safety class from the Atlanta Bicycle Campaign,
covering the nationally renowned principles of "Effective
Cycling", and taught by a nationally certified instructor.
• Two free passes to Georgia Organics’ Field of
Greens event, October 6, 2007.
• A field trip provided by the Georgia Conservancy.
• A half-day guided paddling expedition for two on beautiful
Ebenezer Creek near Savannah provided by Wilderness Southeast.
• Enjoy two hours exploring and birding led by Wilderness
Southeast. Choose either the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge
or the beaches of Tybee Island.
• Free admission for the family for events at Oxbow
Meadows Learning Center, plus free family admission to the

• 10% off total purchase at Trees Atlanta's Annual Tree
Sale - Saturday,
• October 20, 2007. The Trees Atlanta Tree Sale offers
the most unusual
and hard-to-find selection of native and non-exotic trees
in the
Southeast. The Sale is held in Atlanta's Piedmont Park (adjacent
to Magnolia Hall) from 8 am – 2 pm.
• Two tickets to Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper's annual
River Revival,
held each spring in Atlanta to celebrate the Chattahoochee
with music, auction, food and beverages.
• Invitation to "Tuesday's at TPL" a weekly
program where the public is invited for lunch and an update
on the work The Trust for Public Land is doing around the
state.
• A Sanctuary Certification by Atlanta Audubon Society.
• A guided birding field trip with Atlanta Audubon Society.
• A Dick Park's bird print or a 50% discount on a regular
Georgia Ornithological Society membership for one year. In
addition, GOS will off a guided group bird watching trip to
Leadership Givers ($1,000 donators) who hold an Earth Share
holder card.
• One ticket to Park Pride's annual Greenspace Conference
in April.
