"Oh, What a dollar can do!"
When you choose to give to Earth Share through payroll deduction,
you are choosing a smart and convenient way to care for the
environment. For most of us, a few dollars a paycheck is easier
to swallow than a one-time contribution. For the price of the
occasional latte or a new CD, your contribution can have a real
impact.

Other ways to give:
Donate Your Car
Do you have an old vehicle you plan to get rid of? Why not consider
donating
your used car, truck, boat or RV to Car Program LLC to benefit
Earth Share of Georgia. Car Program will pick up your donated
vehicle, sell it at auction or directly to a salvage yard, and
donate a portion of the proceeds to Earth Share. The donation
is tax-deductible, and it's an easy way to support Earth Share!
Most vehicles are accepted even if they don't run, although
some restrictions may apply. They'll even come pick it up for
you. It's easier to donate
your used vehicle than it is to sell it yourself, and you'll
be eligible for a tax deduction as well.

and fill out our online form to donate your car today.
Recycle Your Cell Phone
An estimated 130 million cell phones will end up in US landfills
or incinerators each year, leaching tons of toxic waste. Once
in the waste stream, these devices may leak Lead, Mercury, Cadmium,
Arsenic and other toxic substances into the water supply. Recycling
cell phones is a simple concept, but is rarely utilized--currently
only about 1 percent of used phones are recycled. CollectiveGood
hopes to change that by making cell phone recycling accessible
and profitable for all involved. CollectiveGood
works with about 300 charities, including Earth Share of Georgia,
that collect the phones and return them to CollectiveGood
for a share of the profits. Earth Share now offers six convenient
locations in the Metro Atlanta area to recycle your old cell
phones, PDAs and pagers:
