Corporate Green Day Challenge

The 2016 Corporate Green Day Challenge: a tremendous impact was made around Atlanta!
Hundreds of volunteers engaged.
Dozens of acres cleaned.
Tons of trash collected.

Each April, Earth Day event sponsors team-up to green-up at various environmental project sites in and around Atlanta. This volunteer day brings together hundreds of employees to work on a range of projects, including cleaning up parks and stream banks, building trails, collecting trash, planting gardens and mulching trees.

The 2016 Corporate Green Day Challenge Award was presented to Kaiser Permanente. This award is presented at the Earth Day Leadership Breakfast each year to the company team that shows the greatest leadership in project accomplishment, team spirit, organization and related criteria.

“Our partnership with EarthShare of Georgia is one way Bank of America supports the environment, people and communities in which we live and work.  Because EarthShare of Georgia is a nonprofit that raises funds through employee giving, it aligns well with our own employees’ priorities to work with organizations that conserve and protect our air, land and water.”
-Geri P. Thomas, Georgia market president, Bank of America
