Green Day  |  Leadership Breakfast  |  Earth Day Party  |  Overview

On Saturday, April 2, Green Day will unite hundreds of corporate and government employees in a mission to clean up the environment through hands-on community projects. The half-day of green work projects will culminate at REI with a volunteer appreciation lunch provided by Whole Foods Market.

Green Day Challenge:
Earth Share of Georgia announces the Green Day Challenge, a call to action for metro Atlanta businesses to turn out the most volunteers on Saturday, April 2.

The challenge is simple: Recruit the highest number of volunteers from your company to participate in one of nine clean-up projects. Participants can include employees, spouses and friends, but all must be organized under one company name. The winner will be determined by actual attendance at the worksite on April 2.

There is no fee to participate. The winning business will receive recognition in What’s Up Atlanta Daybook, a hand-blown glass, dogwood trophy by a local Atlanta artist and recognition at the Earth Day Leadership Breakfast on April 22 at the Carter Center.
