The 2017 Corporate Green Day Challenge Award Recipient: Delta Air Lines
Delta Air Lines partnered with Flint Riverkeeper and the Southern Conservation Trust at Line Creek Nature Reserve in Peachtree City. “The primary focus of this project was a large constructed wetlands area which provides a “green infrastructure” solution to storm-water runoff from [the] adjacent shopping center by retaining, filtering and gradually reintroducing water to the environment downstream,” said, Melinda Langston, judge for EarthShare of Georgia’s 2017 Corporate Green Day Challenge.
EarthShare of Georgia hosts 3 key Earth Day events: Corporate Green Day Challenge, March 30-31; Earth Day Leadership Breakfast, April 12; Earth Day Party, April 19.
