    Party in the Park
Do you know your environmental footprint? Compare it with friends and colleagues as you tread barefoot in the park at the 10th Annual Party in the Park. Held at Atlantic Station's Central Park, guests will celebrate Earth Day against the backdrop of the largest urban brownfield redevelopment in the country and a model for smart growth and sustainability. Take in the skyline as you enjoy live music by the Atlanta Bluegrass Band and Drivin Possum, open bar courtesy of SweetWater Brewing Company and Fetzer and Bonterra Vineyards, and fresh fare from Whole Foods Market and Catering 101.

Guests are also invited to bid on the silent auction stocked with great deals on art, jewelry, unique getaways and outdoor gear. Some highlighted auction items:
    - a week's stay in a private Tuscan villa
    - 4-carat, custom-designed aquamarine and diamond ring
    - landscape makeover package from Ed Castro Landscape
    - weekend stay at the Crown Plaza Hilton Head Resort
    - a round of gold for four at Barnsley Garden's championship course
If you are interested in donating an item to the auction, please call us before April 20th at 404-873-3173.

Proceeds from the evening support Earth Share of Georgia, the state's only dedicated environmental fund. For more details or to buy tickets, click here.

    Leadership Breakfast
At the 4th annual Leadership Breakfast, business and non-profit leaders from Metro-Atlanta will gather to celebrate innovations in sustainable business practices. The breakfast will feature special guest speaker Governor Sonny Perdue. The thought-provoking program encourages business leaders to invest in their communities by implementing smart environmental innovations to reduce their corporate footprints.

Hosted by Kaiser Permanente, attendees will enjoy seeing the smart environmental techniques that make Atlantic Station a "green" leader in the Southeast and a model for sustainable design across the nation. Awards will be presented as part of an Earth Day Champions Tribute. Corporate tables and sponsorship start at $500. For more information or to register, click here.

    Green Day
On Saturday, April 29, Green Day will unite hundreds of corporate and government employees in a mission to clean up the environment through hands-on community projects.

    Green Day Challenge:
Earth Share of Georgia announces the Green Day Challenge, a call to action for metro Atlanta businesses to turn out the most volunteers on Saturday, April 29.

The challenge is simple: Recruit the highest number of volunteers from your company or group to participate in one of several clean-up projects. Participants can include employees, spouses and friends, but all must be organized under one company or group name. The winner will be determined by actual attendance at the worksite on April 29.

There is no fee to participate. Participating companies or groups will receive recognition in the official Earth Day program. Volunteers will receive an eco-gift bag, a free lunch coupon, and a healthy dose of fresh air! Challenge winners will be recognized and will receive a hand-blown glass sculpture by a local Atlanta artist.

Are you up for the Challenge? To sign up your company or group for Green Day, click here.

Groups already participating are: Bank of America, CH2MHill, Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, Generation Green, Georgia Association of Environmental Professionals, HSBC Bank, Kaiser Permanente, Lord, Aeck and Sargent, Natural Body Spa and Shoppe, Rock-Tenn, TriMont Real Estate Advisors, Thompson, Ventulett, Stainback and Associates, and Turner Broadcasting System.
