Green Day Challenge:
Earth Share of Georgia announces the Green Day Challenge, a call to action for metro Atlanta businesses to turn out the most volunteers on Saturday, April 29.
The challenge is simple: Recruit the highest number of volunteers from your company or group to participate in one of several clean-up projects. Participants can include employees, spouses and friends, but all must be organized under one company or group name. The winner will be determined by actual attendance at the worksite on April 29.
There is no fee to participate. Participating companies or groups will receive recognition in the official Earth Day program. Volunteers will receive an eco-gift bag, a free lunch coupon, and a healthy dose of fresh air! Challenge winners will be recognized and will receive a hand-blown glass sculpture by a local Atlanta artist.
