One of the best ways you can help Earth Share of Georgia is to assist us in starting an employee giving campaign at your worksite.  If your employer conducts a campaign but there's no environmental choice, Earth Share would like to be included as an option alongside United Way and any other charities that may be represented.  If your employer does not have workplace giving, Earth Share of Georgia can work with your business to initiate a charitable campaign that would be suitable for your office environment.

Here's some simple steps to follow in exploring this opportunity:

1. Research - find out what kind of campaign, if any, is offered at your worksite.  How many charities are involved?  How much does the campaign raise?  Is there good employee participation?  Who plans the campaign?  

2. Contact Us - Fill out the company survey or contact Earth Share directly to tell us about your company campaign.  Earth Share will strategize with you about next steps and send you necessary information.  

3. Make a pitch - Find the key decision-makers in your company who can make decisions related to the campaign.  Earth Share will attend or set up a meeting with the appropriate representatives at your worksite.   
   
   
4. Follow-up -  After discussions have taken place, follow up with key personnel to remind them about Earth Share and determine whether any decisions have been made.  

Having employee support is critical for Earth Share to gain access to new businesses.  The more you and your co-workers can do to assist us, the better chances of our success.
